DeDe´s single "Turn you on" is written, produced and featered by Fugees star Pras Michel.
After nine weeks on Swedens single chart the single went No. 2.DeDe just wrapped up her
first live-band tour in China, a great success. Her new album is already being heralded as her best.
DeDe´s
own label, DLP International AB, recently signed an agreement with
A-Peer synergy, a record label in China and Taiwan. A-Peer will release
DeDe´s new album in Q1 2009 and are now planning for her next promotion
tour in China towards the end of December 2008.
DeDe was the only Swedish artist in Michael Jackson’s opening act in 1997 at Ullevi
stadium in Sweden. With more than 500 000 albums sold, she has worked
with world-class Pop producers and songwriters such as Anders Bagge
(Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion), The famous Cheiron Team: Max
Martin, Per Magnusson, David Kreuger & Andreas Carlsson (Celine
Dion, Britney Spears, n´Sync, Backstreet Boys among others), Sean
Barney Thomas (Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg) and others.
Her most recent hit single, "Turn You On", is a duet with Grammy-winning recording
artist Pras Michel (The Fugees) layered with her sassy vocals and Pras
Michel's signature fluid rap style.
In November 2007 she did a PR tour together with Pras Michel in Estonia, Letvia, Finland, Denmark
and Sweden. In December 2007 (13th & 15th) she did two shows at the
biggest clubs in Beijing, Club Mix and Club Cargo. DeDe is also singing
on DJ Swamis song Electro Jugni and the album went No.1 in India. DJ
Swami also produced one of DeDe´s songs on the new album.
